Good Morning!
We got to TCI last night after stopping by Valik and Luba’s house to talk with the Mountainview family via Skype. If you didn’t get a chance to see it, we were able to connect with the 10am service and talk to Ken and everyone. Thanks to Brendan for setting that up. Unfortunately we weren’t able to hit all the services. It was especially good to see Eric Parvin’s face pop up in the web cam at Mountainview after being with him less than 48 hours earlier in Ukraine!
Saturday and Sunday went well. The folks from our worship team gave a seminar to the Christ Savior worship team on Saturday and Michael (together with Dawn and Cooper) led the worship time on Sunday morning. There are several songs we sing regularly that are also part of the Christ Savior song list, so they alternated singing the verses in Russian and English and everyone would sing the chorus in their own language. It was very moving for all of us as we sang “God of this City”.
We’re all waking up now and will head to breakfast in about 45 minutes. It’s a beautiful morning on the D’niper River and we’ll get a chance to start meeting people in the next few minutes as they are starting to arrive for the Youth Festival. I can’t wait to see who will make it here from last year’s group! Jim was sick last night so please keep him in your prayers.
