It’s Friday afternoon and we’ve only got a couple more days in Ukraine. The youth festival ends tomorrow after breakfast and we’ll go back to Kherson to spend one last evening with our host families.
Last night was great. During the evening service Michael, Dawn and Cooper led everyone in singing “God of this City” in both English and Russian. After that we presented the Cardboard Testimonies and got a great reaction from the audience. I heard from several people that it was very powerful. A preacher from Zaparozia gave a message afterward that ended with an alter call. About 30 kids came forward! This is really what it’s all about; people making decisions for Christ! Today is Brianna’s birthday. Matt made a big posterboard card for her and has been having people sign it all day. Yurii is going into town right now to get her a cake. Shhh… It’s a surprise!
